Make a Website/Blog Workshop

New tools and software makes it easier for business owners to be less dependent on webmasters. With the popularity of social media, some of the older static websites simply won’t cut it if you expect to take a lead in your industry as it relates to being found online by your customers and potential prospects.

During this live hands-on workshop, you’ll discover how to use one of the web’s most popular website and blogging platforms known as WordPress to build your website and/or blog. This is training will show you step-by-step everything you need to make a website and have a fully functional website online by the end of this workshop.

During this training, we’ll discuss the planning, setup, marketing, SEO and content writing as well; but it’s main focus is on the technical aspect of setting up your website and/or blog prior to you leaving the workshop. We’ll focus on the current version of WordPress 3.0.1.

There are a few prerequisites that must be completed prior to attending this workshop. Once you register, you’ll be sent a checklist outlining these details such as registering a domain name along with some other simple things.
